Depth of focus

〞Depth of focus (焦深)〞 與 〞Depth of Field (景深)〞，其實分別就是 〞物端〞 與 〞成像端〞 的對等計算。

Depth of focus 公式

t (depth of focus) = 2 * N * C * v / f = 2 * N * C * (1 + m)

公式中

N (光圈數值 aperture number)

C (模糊圓 circle of confusion, 20um (APS-C) or 29um (36mm*24mm))

v (像距 image distance)

f (鏡頭焦距 len's focal length)

m (放大率 magnification)


以放大率公式(後項)簡化計算，在一般攝影時，因為放大率都很小，所以公式中可以簡化為

t ≒ 2 * N * C
